A yearly journal is back and with it come some announcements!
My free time has been reduced drastically these past months. Art-wise I haven´t held brushes since I finished my Christmas gifts in December. I also feel sorry that I haven´t been able to comment nor SEE much of what is happening here on dA, I come from time to time to delete the stack of deviations that don´t catch my eye from the thumb view (which sounds horrible but that´s the truth!)...The rest awaits my judgement! (Over 1000 deviations and the number is growing each day.)

Hello creatives!
I have some good news coming up :). I successfully finished my (second) university, well it took just 2 years but I´m officially a graphic designer now :). Also I´ve been lucky enough that my internship studio took me in full-time and so I´m also officially employed. That also marks my future plans to stay here in Lima and most probably settle here for good. Since I freed myself of the school projects and assignments I have now more free time to be creative (though I´m still lazy for the uploading part :P).

First Week in Lima

So here I am, in the far far away city of Lima which is at least twice as big as my whole country of origin...The traffic here can be deadly, the water in faucets not drinkable and language still evades me, BUT I´m happy :)...I´m experiencing my first days working in the graphic design industry and so far I like it very much...I´ve been given some responsibility and creative freedom and my opinions and ideas seem to be valued...Every day I´m trying a new thing to eat and still there is so much left to try, as imagined in the country of 500 types of potatoes! Thank you so much, Siobhán (that´s an Irish Gaelic name right? Good this is internet coz I woldn´t be able to pronounce it right ;D)!!! Living in Peru now means that I will never have to work on the day of my Birthday (they have some national holiday ;D)...So it truly was a great day! And thanks as well for the congratulations, life is busy but pleasurable, I just wish to have more time for personal and creative projects...
